Between Pain and Hope: A Solidarity Visit to Ankara Hospitals
In a gesture of humanity and solidarity, members of the Union’s board, together with the staff of the Palestinian Embassy in Ankara, visited wounded Palestinians in Turkish hospitals on Monday, 29 January.
The visit was an opportunity to check on the health of the wounded and to stand by them. Cash assistance was offered to the wounded as a small part of the Union’s duty toward them.
Participants stressed the importance of such steps in strengthening the bonds among Palestinians and expressed a deep sense of responsibility toward every member of the Palestinian people.
