Businessmen Union Strengthens Ties with the Palestinian Community
On Saturday, 27 January 2024, a delegation of the Palestinian Turkish Businessmen Union visited the Palestinian community in Istanbul. The visit continued the series of visits decided by the Union’s board to strengthen relations between Palestinian and Arab institutions and the Union in Türkiye.
The meeting discussed developing relations between the Union and the community, the affairs of Palestinians in Türkiye, and especially the cases of the wounded arriving from Gaza.
The delegation included Union President Mazen Hasasneh, Vice President Mahmoud Al-Sagheer, board members Asem Bakeer and Fuad BADAVI (Fouad Badawi), and Union Director Dr. Raneen Al-Za’aneen. They were received by the head of the community, Eng. Rajeh Nassar, and his deputy, Eng. Wael Al-Mashoukhi.
The meeting also addressed Israeli practices in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and their impact on Palestinians. The delegation expressed its readiness to keep supporting the community and to help ease the suffering of Palestinians at home and in Türkiye.
